2005 Hubbard Company
Apache Run 5K
Please help us reach our goal of 215
runners this year.  I know it seem like a lot,
but with your help I know we can do it.  All
proceeds go to our track.

A big thank you to Thomas Hubbard of the Hubbard Company for his
generous donation in becoming the main sponsor of the Apache Run
5K.

Also thank you to our other sponsors so far:
Ney Oil
We are currently looking for sponsors to help us offset the cost of shirts and awards.
For $50, we will put your business or family name on the back of our shirts, put it and
any website links on our site, put your name on our entry forms and mention it
several times through out the race.
I just want to use this section to get a very early jump on
promoting the Hubbard Company Apache Run 5K.  It is a
5K Run/Walk on June 11th at 9:00AM.  There is also a one
mile fun run at 8:30AM. There are many age groups (11
each male and female) and also a team event (see form) .
Also, we take pride in the amount and quality of door
prizes that we offer.  In the past we have offered items
such as Detroit Tigers tickets, mp3 players, gift
certificates, watches, shirts, and many other things.  Also,
our race shirts are high quality I usually strive to make
them different than most race shirts.  This year we will be
awarding prize money based on how many people there
are.  $1.00 from each entrant of the 5K will be put into a
pot for the top male and female runners.  I will make the
prize money proportionate to how many males and females
there are, for example, there are 200 runners (100 male
and 100 female) the prize money would be $100 each but
if there were 75 women and 125 men it would be $75 for
the women and $125 for the men.  I guess what I am
trying to say is that if you are competing for the top place
you should try and bring as many runners and walkers with
you as possible or help spread the word about the Apache
Run.
